“I must be worthless.” Then he groaned.

“Now that’s not right,” the man decreed.

“Your type is scarce, a valued breed.”

“The Flatback camel is quite rare.

So I’ve been searching everywhere.

Your kind is special in the wild.”

Then Humpfree raised his head and smiled.

Now, all the camels here agree

That Humpfree’s how he’s meant to be.

It’s true; his back is long and flat,

But there is NOTHING wrong with that.
